Post-Op Commitment Terms
Every "included" item shown on our service pages is defined here — applicability, inclusions, exclusions and the criteria for true recurrence.
Suture Removal Visit Included
Applicability
All minimally invasive surgeries that involve sutures (tumor excision, odor surgery, repair extraction, etc.)
Inclusions
- Suture removal visit within 7 days post-op
- Material fees, consultation fees, and dressing fees fully included
- Performed personally by the operating surgeon
Exclusions
- No refund if the patient removes sutures at an external clinic
- Missing the scheduled removal date by more than 14 days post-op may affect healing and requires re-evaluation
Photo Upload + Online Wound Care Advice
Upload wound photos via LINE anytime; our medical team replies with care advice, overseen by your operating surgeon. Not a scheduled clinic visit — asynchronous "we're there when you need us" consultation.
Applicability
All suture-removal-surgery patients, applicable for 30 days post-op
Inclusions
- Reply via LINE typically within 48 hours
- If further management is needed, priority in-clinic slot is offered
- No cap on the number of consultations
Exclusions
- This is asynchronous consultation, not a substitute for emergency care — for redness, fever, pus, or other acute infection signs, go to the clinic or ER directly
14-Day / 1-Month / 3-Month Follow-Up Visits Included
Applicability
All suture-removal minimally invasive surgeries
Inclusions
- All 3 visits include consultation, wound assessment, and ultrasound imaging if needed
- Personally evaluated by the operating surgeon
- If revision is needed (e.g. secondary suture removal, graft re-evaluation), priority scheduling but separate fees apply
Exclusions
- Missing 2 consecutive appointments without prior notice forfeits priority scheduling for remaining visits
- Overseas patients who cannot return may switch to remote follow-up (video/photo), but this does not replace required imaging
Post-Op Light Therapy Session Included
Low-level light therapy (LED red light / near-infrared) to support wound healing, reduce bruising retention, and accelerate recovery cadence. Part of standard post-op recovery.
Applicability
Applicable to all patients across all 7 service categories
Inclusions
- One full light therapy session (~15-20 minutes)
- Operated by trained clinic staff
- Schedulable any time post-op; recommended within 1-2 weeks for maximum benefit
Exclusions
- No exclusions. Universal inclusion for all patients.
3-Month Same-Site True Recurrence — LIUSMED Post-Op Coverage
If true recurrence at the same site is confirmed within 3 months post-op (validated by both imaging and pathology), full re-surgery is provided at no additional charge.
Applicability
Tumor series: lipoma, cyst, dermoid cyst, laser-assisted cyst — all minimally invasive excision categories
Inclusions
- Surgery fee — fully waived
- Material fees (sutures, dressings, imaging-guidance consumables) — fully waived
- Anesthesia fee — fully waived
- Post-op follow-up visits included on the same terms as original procedure
Exclusions
- A "different lesion" at the same site is not covered (e.g. cyst appearing where a lipoma was excised — different pathology)
- Patient refusal of recommended follow-up (e.g. declining additional imaging or biopsy)
- Non-medically-necessary revision (e.g. purely cosmetic touch-up)
- Beyond 3 months post-op (counted from surgery date)
- Different anatomical site (e.g. surgery on left axilla, new lesion on right axilla — not covered)
Recurrence Determination Criteria
- Imaging (ultrasound or MRI) confirms a new lesion at the original excision site
- Pathology report shows the same histologic type as the original excised tissue
- Both criteria must be met to qualify as true recurrence — clinical palpation alone does not suffice
- Determination is performed by clinic physicians; assessments from external clinics do not affect coverage decisions
LIUSMED Post-Op 3-Modality Recovery System
A 3-modality integrated recovery system (de-swelling + bruise resolution + tissue repair) configured per individual case by the surgeon after post-op evaluation. Specific modality breakdown is determined by clinical judgment and is not separately published.
Applicability
Repair series (filler / fat-graft / vascular / scar, etc.) + odor-sweat series
Inclusions
- Activated within the first week post-op
- Delivered by the operating surgeon together with the clinic recovery team
- At least one of the 3 modalities is light therapy (overlaps with Layer 2)
- The other 2 modalities are selected per post-op status — may include topical, oral, injection, or device-based treatments
Exclusions
- Patient self-terminates the regimen (e.g. does not return for the configured sessions)
- Patients medically unsuitable (e.g. allergies, pregnancy, specific immune conditions)
- Repair beyond the scope of this regimen (e.g. a second site not covered)
- Specific modality combination cannot be pre-committed or customized on request — determined by physician based on post-op status
