Chin & Jawline Filler Removal & Contour Revision

The people who come to me after chin or jawline work has gone wrong most often complain that on a side photo a block juts forward and looks unnatural, and next that they can feel a lump they want gone. The trouble with the chin is that it is always moving, and collagen stimulators and permanent materials mostly cannot be dissolved — they can only be physically removed; and the mental nerve hides here while branches of the facial artery run along the jawline, so blind aspiration is high-risk. So when I work on a chin I always look first on ultrasound: what material is inside, which layer it sits in, how close it runs to the nerve and vessels, whether it is wrapped in fibrosis, and then remove through a single pinhole the part causing the unnatural bulge.
